Hi, has anyone got any experience of how the French school systems intergrates and supports children with disabilities. we are will be moving to Hyeres later this year with our 7 year old twins who both have disabilities and are having trouble finding information on schooling and the levelof support that would be available. Currently our children have  dedicated teaching support assistants who helps then and ensures they access the curriculem as fully as possible. I have not been able to discover what would be available in France so if anyone has any information or suggestions that would be great.Many thanks.

Hi there, my daughter is 10, she was born in France and has always attended French schools. However, I've recently heard about the College Mignet and would love to get her in next year. So there are exams to get in and I'd like to know what kind of exams, how good does the child have to be at writing and reading? Obviously in French she has no problem and gets good marks, 15/20 as a "moyen general". But her reading age is well below a British child's. I've got her an English "cahier de vacances", 3é level for the summer and we've been working the reading and writing for the last 2yrs, but what with homework and my full-time job - I don't get home until after 6.30pm, it's not easy. Does anyone know what level we'd be looking at? Maybe I should get her some tuition in the evenings? I really want her to get into this school, especially as a teacher has already told me how hard it is to get into Luynes, he said no probs for the oral exam, but you've got to be really good for the written one.

We are considering holding our wedding party in Provence next summer and are looking for an English speaking celebrant. The actual legal wedding will take place in the UK beforehand but we would like to repeat our vows in front of our friends and family at the celebrations in Provence. We would be grateful for any information about people experienced people who could conduct the ceremony.

Hi - I am looking for a preschool or daycare for my son this summer while we are studying in Aix.  I'd prefer that he go to a school (rather than a nanny) so that he is immersed in French - he'll be starting a French preschool in the US in the fall.  I don't understand how they work - are they all governement operated?  Are there any private daycares?  Or

Hello - I am moving to south of France for 6 months with 2 kids (10 and 12) early 2019. I am struggling to know if I can get them into bilingual school (they are french speakers but not bilingual as such - can't write it or really read it). I think IBS or SIVS are options but I can't figure out 1) whether I will definitely get them in and 2) how we find where to live for that length of time. Any help very gratefully received!
